We've got several changes and/or additions to highlight for you in 2025: 1) We are now billing for one cleaning at a time. There is still a three-minimum visit requirement for a monthly subscription and 2 minimum visit requirements for quarterly or bi-annual subscriptions -- but we are now only billing for one visit at a time. 2) You will be charged for your subsequent visits 1 week before you are scheduled for visits #2, #3, etc. If, for some reason, the credit card charge is unable to be processed, our system will automatically notify you and ask for updated credit card information. Your spot on the schedule will be reserved until we are out on the route, at which time, if we have not received payment, you'll be removed from being a part of the day's schedule and will remain off the schedule until you re-up your subscription with a new credit card. 3) Any customers who paid for more cleanings than they received in 2024 have been credited the appropriate amount of dollars to their account to be redeemed for 2025 cleanings. We have accounted for 2025 pricing changes for 3+ bins and have credited it appropriately to cover the cleanings you paid for last season. 4) We had a lot of demand for a package less frequent than quarterly, so, we're offering the option for 2x cleanings a year. Depending on the date you sign up for this package, you might only get one cleaning in on your first year. 5) A new, more user-friendly Customer Dashboard with many features: - blocking out dates your bins will be unavailable - easy updating to your plan or canceling it (please don't do that! But if you decide to, we don't want it to be difficult for you to) - seamless refer-a-friend system 6) Pricing that remained as unchanged as we could possibly muster. Our only price change is additional bins 3+ are now $12 per bin for monthly and quarterly plans, $15 for bi-annual plans, and $20 for additional bins for one-time cleans. And a one-time clean is now $90. Being a new business in 2024, we learned much about how much time/money is needed to clean additional bins, and the typical condition of bins on their first clean warranted a more substantial upcharge for one-time cleans. We really did not want to raise any prices, but the viability of our business necessitated this change. With that said, we're so excited to be back for season 2.0, and can't wait to give you lots more chances to Experience the MN Bin Bath Difference.

We had dates with a LOT of dirty trash bins in 2024. Here are some of our personal favorite adventures we had, in no particular order. You feelin' this sludge'athon?:

Using paper bags from grocery stores can also be problematic, as they can become wet and break apart, contaminating other recyclables. Instead, place your recyclables loose in the bin. If you must use a bag, ensure it is a clear, recyclable one, and check with your local recycling program to see if they accept bagged recyclables. 3. Flatten and Disassemble Maximize the space in your recycle bin and make the recycling process more efficient by flattening cardboard boxes and crushing cans and plastic bottles. This not only saves space but also makes it easier for recycling facilities to handle the materials. Additionally, separate mixed-material items, like plastic lids from cardboard containers, and place them in their respective bins. Keeping materials sorted helps streamline the recycling process. 4. Know What to Recycle It's essential to know what items your local recycling program accepts. Commonly accepted items include paper, cardboard, glass bottles, metal cans, and certain plastics. Items like plastic bags, Styrofoam, and electronics often require special handling and should not be placed in your regular recycling bin. Check with your local waste management authority for specific guidelines to ensure you're recycling correctly. 5. Spread the Word and Stay Informed Effective recycling practices are most impactful when the entire community participates. Share these tips with your neighbors, friends, and family to help increase awareness and improve recycling efforts across your community. Additionally, stay informed about any changes to local recycling programs and guidelines. Many municipalities update their recycling policies regularly and staying up-to-date ensures you're always recycling correctly. The title of the post says it all. We had a blast cleaning up 53 dirty bins all the way out in Loretto, Minnesota. And we'd love to do your city's bins next. We know the grime, the stink, the maggots and the filth are out there lurking. Lurking in park waste bins. All too apparent at dog parks. Wafts of odor and unsightliness all inside and on the outside of the public garbage bins you come across while enjoying the offerings of your favorite towns and cities. We're here to help. 1 Large Wheel Spinner + ketchup, mustard, maple syrup, chocolate syrup, strawberry syrup, spray bottle whipped cream, spray bottle shaving cream = one messy garbage bin. Hundreds of kids got to take a crack at our fun wheel spinner, which decided what messy item they got to use to help make our garbage bin disgusting... Only for us to then clean it up in front of everyone. Honestly, we might have had even more fun than the kids. And we learned a lot and will be making some tweaks for future events we attend. That said, what a great event thrown by the White Bear Lake Police Department at Podvin Park; last Thursday, May 9. We've got lots more events coming up this summer that we'll be participating in, including having a booth some Thursday evenings at Marketfest in downtown White Bear Lake.
